Llandovery is an attractive small market town with many family-owned local shops including

There are plenty of places to find ready-prepared food if you don't feel like cooking. Llandovery has several cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways.

There is a railway station, which is on the scenic "Heart of Wales" line that runs between Swansea and Shrewsbury.

Bus services run from Llandovery to Llandeilo, Carmarthen and Brecon.
